Alberto Loi, Sa Mola Cannonau 2021

Established in the 1940s on the eastern slopes of Sardinia's Jerzu region, Alberto Loi is now in its third generation of family winemakers. They pride themselves on using only organic farming methods, meaning the wine you see in your glass is an authentic taste of Sardinia. Sa Mola 2021 is made from 100% Cannonau, which is the local name for Grenache. The nose is juicy, bright and floral with notes of cherry, cooked raspnberry and violet. The palate is well-structured with more spicy flavours along with a good kick of red fruit. An excellent wine to pair with ragus.
